Levante Beach
A little bit GAY Just 30 seconds from the bars in the gay village you will find the famous Levante beach and the gay area between the Tourist Information office and the Moai Café Bar (150m walk from the gay village). The perfect place to shake off the night before, enjoy some totty watching on the Moia terrace and top up the tan.
Raco Conil – Get YOUR kit off
About 6kms out of Benidorm you will find the cove of Raco Conil a great gay (mixed) nudist beach. To get their take the Villajoyosa road and take a left at the old casino, or a taxi for about 15€, they will gladly pick you up again too. You can hop on the No.2 Bus to La Cala beach from the Bus Stop below the hotel Mar Blau, park Elche on the Poniente and walk over the headland. There is a summer bar at the beach for liquid top ups. Very cruisy all day.
Ti Ximo – A rugged cove above the Cable Ski Levante Beach
If you enjoy a walk and getting an all over tan, then this little cove is worth finding. You need to walk to the far end of the Levante past the Cable Ski and head up the hill to Ti Ximo cove. Not as busy as years ago but a pleasant place to visit if you like it a bit rugged! Can be cruisy sometimes.
PLAYA MAL PAS
Just a little bit gay. The little beach huddled beneath the old town headland, behind the harbour and the big Playa Poniente is the place to head for a day of fun on the sands. Cosy, with safe very warm water and hardly enough room to roam, (Yes, it is a good thing!) making this the best beach for showing off and watching a little flesh in the run up to Pride 2015. Hire a sunbed and parasol for under 10€ a day for added comfort, grab a cooler bag of chilled beer cans and bury yourself in a good read whilst watching bums on the beach. Sun tan topped up and looking gorgeous for the big Parade day, sorted! Is you love sea food there are great restaurants for lunch where you can have your fill of crustaceans, something fishy and enjoy a quaffable bottle of wine. High on the list of après playa activities is an after sun cocktail or three on the terrace at Café Bar Refuel. Located on the road above Park Elx (Dove Park) and the only gay bar overlooking the beach.
